      கண்ணன் கழலிணை

      நண்ணும் மனமுடையீர் 

      எண்ணும் திருநாமம் 

      திண்ணம் நாரணமே !  

                                                    --நம்மாழ்வார் 

              MY TRANSLATION  

                        

Oh,thou who set thy hearts

Upon the feet of Kannan here

The holy name embedded in thy thoughts

Is only Narayana for sure!
