MUCH BETTER
Short in structure---tall in stature,
He is the Pole-star of cricket's future.
Tennis,envious of cricket,caught him by his elbow.
He shrugged it off and returned with full flow.
He ducks bouncers and broadsides with equal ease:
Ups and downs- he faces with utmost grace.
A double hundred in the shorter version
Shows his focus,hunger and endless passion.
The world cup has become the crowning glory
Of the 'Little Master's' colourful story.
If cricket is a gentleman's game-
Then,surely it is Sachin's game!
Call him a gem,genius or a gargantuan run-getter
But' Bharat Ratna' would be much better !
